About Peter Cortesis
The Cortesis family has been situated and involved in the Cobourg business community since 1917. I’m proud to continue this tradition and adore working with members of the city that I love and where I was born and raised.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from Brock University in 2008. Feeling the need for a challenge, I decided to move to my family’s homeland of Greece to immerse myself in the culture and learn the language. Within 48 hours of landing, I had secured a job and an apartment and dove head first into my adventure and living like a local. Within four months of working 12 hour days as a server, I was more fluent in Greek than I ever could have imagined. My philosophy to this day remains the same - determination, hard work, and perseverance will lead to success.
Once I returned to Cobourg, I completed my Real Estate license and launched my career in 2009. My goal was simple - to be the best agent I could possibly be and to create strong, long-lasting relationships with my clients based on trust, commitment, and honesty.
My passion for the real estate business has grown each day since. I’m honored to have received The Executive Club Award from Remax in 2010, The ReMax 100% Club Award in 2011 and 2013 as well as being nominated for the Northumberlands Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award in 2011.
The genuine satisfaction and happiness I feel from guiding my clients to achieve exactly what they set out to do is what makes me love my profession. Exceeding your expectations is my true passion.
As a full-time agent, I am available at whatever time is necessary to work with your schedule. I value open and honest communication and believe that by uncovering and establishing your needs right from the beginning of your buying or selling journey, I am able to work with your best interests to deliver successful results.
